Our new high-performance ceramic additive has been specially developed to significantly reduce mechanical wear in the engine while sustainably minimizing internal friction. The outstanding effect is achieved through the optimal synergy of both components, which complement each other and combine their strengths.

The organic friction modifiers
increase the lubricity of the motor oil at the molecular level. They reduce friction and improve the formation of the lubrication film in the area of mixed and boundary lubrication through chemical surface adsorption. As a result, the coefficient of friction is lowered—especially at low sliding speeds—and improved lubrication film stability is achieved.
Our state-of-the-art solid lubricant made from hexagonal boron nitride is distinguished by outstanding performance: the ceramic particles form a high-pressure-resistant protective layer on metal sliding surfaces.
This ceramic layer reduces shear forces between components and is highly resistant to high temperatures and oxidation. This reduces mechanical friction and wear even under extreme thermal and mechanical loads and protects against fretting damage.

Modern car oil filters have a filter fineness of between 10 and 30 µm. For high-performance filters, this value is even 5 µm or less. Many products commonly available on the market do not take this important aspect into account, and a large proportion of the ceramic particles are trapped by the oil filter. This load reduces the performance of the oil filter and can result in damage to the drive train. The ultra-fine particles in our ceramic booster are highly dispersed and small enough to pass through even high-performance filters without any problems. This means that when using RAVENOL CeramiX-Pro, there is no risk of impairing the oil filter.
