Ravensberger Schmierstoffvertrieb GmbH is expanding at the location in Werther with the purchase of an existing production building, less than 500 metres distance from the main building.

This investment will expand operational capacity, optimise the use of resources and ensure the long-term sustainability of the company.

The property was previously used by Ravensberger Wachs-Chemie Bernhard Seidel GmbH & Co KG and produced a wide range of sealants, silicones, adhesives, waxes and cleaning agents for well-known companies such as Würth, Bostik, Wacker, Moll and Jowat.

The new site has a production hall measuring approx. 700 square metres with three EX areas (explosion protected areas), a high-bay warehouse with well over 1,000 storage spaces, three loading ramps and numerous external and internal tanks with a capacity of several 100,000 litres.

Paul Becher (CEO RAVENOL): "With the commissioning (installation) of new filling lines, we will position ourselves even more securely as a manufacturer and supplier in the long term, further strengthen our brand in the premium segment and respond even faster to industry requirements. As a medium-sized company in East Westphalia-Lippe, one of the strongest economic and industrial (areas) centres in Germany, we are also creating more secure jobs."

Yannic Dieckmann (Project Manager at RAVENOL) adds: "The new production plant is a further step in the economic growth of the RAVENOL Group as well as in the breadth and depth of production. This will enable us to further consolidate our position as a full-range supplier in various markets."

As a further investment measure with regard to CO2-neutral production, the new company building will be equipped with a modern PV rooftop system covering the entire roof area from 2024.
