DMV TCC becomes DMV GTC

There will be a name change for the DMV Touring Car Challenge in 2015. The DMV TCC now becomes the DMV GT and Touring Car Cup.

"There are several reasons for the name change. We want to differentiate ourselves a little in 2015 because of the acquisition of DMV TCC. The name DMV Touring Car Challenge also was no longer quite as fitting. After all, GT vehicles race as well," says Ralph Monschauer from the organiser of the successful racing series.

In this season, the DMC GTC enters its 26th year. it set the tracks for a successful future early on. "We have been able to acquire new sponsors for our concept and are looking forward to the races," Monschauer says again.

The season commences in Hockenheim at the Motorsportclub Stuttgart on 17/18 April 2015.

One day before, on 16 April, there is already the option of having a test day. The DMV GTC will take place in Oschersleben on 08/09 May. Next, there will be the Red Bull Ring (22 – 24 May 2015). In summer, there are two events on the Hockenheimring: on 03/04 July and 24/25 July. For the first time after a long while, an event will take place at the Lausitzring as well, where the DMV GT and Touring Car Cup take place on 14/15 August. The Highlight will surely be the 04/05 September 2015, when the competitors fight for points in the GT Open-event in Spa-Francorchamps on the Ardennen-Achterbahn.

The finale will take place on the Nürburgring on 09/10 October. "We thus have all four permanent German race  tracks in our schedule," says the organisational team.
