Thanks to our photovoltaic systems, we minimize our annual CO₂ footprint considerably. We are already reducing CO₂ emissions by around 22 tons per year - equivalent to the harmful greenhouse gas emissions of around 10,000 cars.

The efficient use of resources and the optimization of work processes through planned savings in energy costs can sometimes lead to more competitive prices and a better position in the market economy.

Back in 2014, RAVENOL set standards in the lubricant industry with the first API-licensed and approved engine oil with the API SN specification and SAE 0W-16 viscosity. Our engine oil is based on the proven CleanSynto® technology and helps to protect the environment by saving fuel and reducing emissions.

Our commitment to the environment extends to our employees. We promote mobile working to reduce commuting. We also encourage our employees to switch to sustainable mobility options, such as E-Bikes, through attractive leasing offers to reduce traffic and CO₂ emissions. As a further contribution, we offer e-cars in the company car pool to further reduce CO₂ emissions. Together, we are helping to reduce our ecological footprint.

The „Fokus Zukunft“ award ensures proper and legally valid handling of the compensation of emissions. This allows us to transparently show international customers our corporate strategy for avoiding and compensating for CO₂ emissions.
