Dear Customers, Partners and Friends,

The turn of the year is fast approaching and so another exciting twelve months draws to a close for us. A year full of fascinating new projects and challenges, which we see as an opportunity to continue forging new paths while continuously developing as a company, together with you.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for our trusting collaboration and the confidence you place in us. Many thanks!

As an expression of our gratitude, this year we will once again be offering financial support to a charitable organisation in the form of a donation – this year it will go to the Ronald McDonald House in Bad Oeynhausen.

Since 2001, the Ronald McDonald House in Bad Oeynhausen has offered a home to families whose seriously ill children are being treated in the Heart and Diabetes Centre of North Rhine Westphalia. This year, around 200 families will be making use of one of the twelve apartments, meaning that they can remain close to their child.

When a child falls ill, this places a great strain on the entire family. The problem is compounded by constant worry about the child as well as the atmosphere of the hospital, which is often cold and unfriendly. That’s where the Ronald McDonald House in Bad Oeynhausen comes in. Star architect Frank Gehry, who also designed the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, donated his vision for a temporary home by creating the concept for this building in the spa town. Here, parents and other family members find the peace, advice and support that they need to give their children what the medical profession is not able to offer: love and assurance. The proximity of parents has now become an essential part of treating seriously ill children.

“As a father myself, one thing is clear: spending time with the family, seeing children laughing, experiencing the feelings of sticking together and joy is the most fundamental thing we have. It’s all the more wonderful to see that we as a company are able to help where support is really needed, as we are doing here with the McDonald's help for children project”, says RAVENOL’s Managing Director Paul Becher.

Stefanie Kruse, Head of the Ronald McDonald House: "I am delighted because we consider ourselves fortunate that people are taking up our cause – helping families with seriously ill children – and are making a significant contribution to achieving our common goal with their good ideas.”

RAVENOL wishes you a happy and reflective Christmas and a great New Year!
