Iron Lynx Brings Back the Iconic Mercedes-AMG Silver Arrow Design at the 2025 24 Hours of Le Mans
After 26 years, Mercedes-AMG Motorsport is returning to the legendary French endurance classic. The Iron Lynx team, technically supported by RAVENOL lubricants and operating fluids, is fielding three Silver Arrows—all painted in the traditional silver livery, each with different accent colors to distinguish them on the track. This comeback pays tribute to the legendary victory with the Sauber Mercedes C9 in 1989.

The 24 Hours of Le Mans (June 14–15) takes place in a festive atmosphere, attracting over 350,000 fans and turning the event into a true motorsport festival. The parade held ahead of the race makes Le Mans a particularly special occasion: teams and drivers take their cars through the city, presenting themselves to the fans and sharing the excitement of the event. Spectators can admire the vehicles up close, collect autographs, and experience the drivers in person.
Drivers of the three Silver Arrows:
The #60 car, featuring yellow accents, will be driven by Andrew Gilbert, Fran Rueda, and Lorcan Hanafin.
The #61 car, with white accents, will be driven by Martin Berry, Lin Hodenius (the youngest driver in the field), and Maxime Martin.
The #63 car, featuring red accents, will be piloted by Stephen Grove, his son Brenton, and Luca Stolz.

RAVENOL is not only a team partner of Iron Lynx but also the official supplier for Mercedes-AMG Motorsport across the GT2, GT3, GT4, and Track Series vehicle categories. This makes RAVENOL a top-level supporter of motorsport teams and vehicles.
In addition to the Mercedes entries, Iron Lynx will also field an LMP2 team in cooperation with Proton Competition.
