Already during the pre-season tests and the season opener at Silverstone Max Verstappen had been drawing attention. At Hockenheim, the Dutchman celebrated his first Formula 3 success in the service of RAVENOL partner Van Amersfoort Racing last Sunday with a start-finish victory. In the first two races, still dogged by bad luck, the son of former Formula 1 driver Jos was going strongly, reaching the finish line before the Prema pilots Esteban Ocon and Antonio Fuoco.
Already this weekend the young elite of formula racing is starting on the 2.76 km-long street circuit in Pau, in the south of France.
