“The ‘boot’ showcases everything making the hearts of the water-sports enthusiasts beat faster,” says fair boss Werner Matthias Dornscheidt.
From 20th to 28th January, the ‘Internationale Bootsausstellung Düsseldorf, also called ‘boot Düsseldorf’, opens its gates for the public. It is regarded as the biggest water-sports fair in the world, featuring different topic areas, such as sailing, diving, powerboats, big yachts, fishing, boat equipment and far more – and all this can be admired in 16 halls on a total exhibition space of more than 200,000 square metres.
On booth D42 in hall 4, RAVENOL’s long-term partner Team Germany Motorsport that races – inter alia – at the pinnacle of maritime motor racing (F1 H20 UIM World Championship) showcases its current F1 racing boat. Such a boat accelerates faster than the majority of the Formula One cars. These boats need just four seconds to accelerate from 0 to 160kph.
