Podium places for Van Amersfoort Racing in Oschersleben- Mick Schumacher leads Rookie standings

What a debut in the new ADAC Formula 4! The new junior series launched by world motorsport association FIA for international sport made its German debut at the Motorsport-Arena Oschersleben near Magdeburg,.

"It has always been a mission of the ADAC to promote young talent. In Formula 4 we have now created a new, ideal platform," was Hermann Tomczyk's assessment in the Magdeburg Börde. A look at the starter list of the first of three Formula 4 races on 25 and 26 April shows how right the President of Sport of the ADAC  is: a whopping 35 monopostos will start the race.

The most successful team among RAVENOL's partners was the team led by Frits Van Amersfoort. After the first three races of the 2015 season, Australian Joey Mawson currently occupies third place overall.

Mick Schumacher also produced a performance that probably not everyone expected. Schumacher celebrated a brilliant debut, finishing as the best rookie of the weekend and on Sunday even as winner of the race. "We did not sign up Mick because of his name but because we are convinced of his potential," clarified his team manager Frits van Amersfoort.

In addition to the FIA Formula 3 European Championship, RAVENOL is also closely associated with the Dutch team as a technical partner in ADAC Formula 4. However, it is not just on the competition cars of Harrison Newey, Mick Schumacher and Joey Mawson (Van Amersfoort Racing) that the RAVENOL logo can be seen. It is also displayed by long-term RAVENOL partner Neuhauser Racing, RS Competition and by the new junior team of Audi DTM driver Timo Scheider. Thus, RAVENOL is visible and valued as a partner of almost a quarter of the field.

The next three races of ADAC Formula 4 will take place as part of the ADAC GT Masters - as will always be the case in future - at the Red Bull Ring, Austria, from 5 to 7 June.
