In the coming season, 2016 / 2017, WSB Endurance will contest the FIM EWC together with its technology partner RAVENOL. The kick-off of the new season was contested adequately within the framework of the legendary Bol d‘Or 24h Race at Le Castellet. The season will be continued only in 2017.

The racing bike of the WSB Endurance Crew is a Kawasaki ZX 10 R (spec 2014) that was designed according to the FIM Formula EWC regulations. These alterations comprised – for instance – a quick-change system for both front and back wheels, a high-speed refuelling system and an enhanced suspension, featuring a fully adjustable front-wheel fork Öhlins FGR 300 and a multi-time adjustable suspension strut. The adjustability of the suspension and its highly sensitive response are ensured by the use of different RAVENOL wheel-fork oils that make sure that the aforementioned properties even are provided at temperatures beyond 40° C. So, the chosen suspension setup can be retained, optimised and used throughout a race. In the Beringer 4-piston brake system, WSB uses RAVENOL Racing Brake Fluid R325+ as it clearly exceeds – according to team – the DOT 5 and DOT 5.1 requirements. Even in extreme temperatures. “During the previous 8h race the brake system displayed not the slightest indication of fading and perfectly harmonised with suspension and engine,” says Sascha Müller, one of the WSB Endurance drivers. To make for a consistent performance level of the engine at high temperatures, the air filter and the fuel injection system are maintained with RAVENOL Carb Cleaner Spray and RAVENOL Air Filter Oil. WSB Endurance also uses the RAVENOL Motorbike 4-T Ester SAE 10W-60 that does not only make for sufficient lubrication but also for a smoothly running engine – and with its additives, it also cleans the power unit that has to cope with high stresses and strains.
