John and Alexis are particularly motivated for the team's home race and want to thank the sponsors and the team with good results.
Max Kappler, the Oberlungwitzer young rider in the SAXOPRINT Racing Team Germany will be a Wildcard starter at the weekend. We're all very interested to see if he can fight off the world championship opposition on his home track as well as he did last year.
Alexis Masbou P13:
"This weekend is the home GP for my team and it is very important to have a good race. I have succeeded in grabbing two podium places so far at the Sachsenring and I'm definitely up for it this year too.“
John McPhee P12:
"After a positive weekend in Assen I am really looking forward to the Sachsenring. It will be a strenuous weekend racing in front of my team's sponsors and I hope that the upward trend continues.“
