Technology: USVO®

RAVENOL Snowmobiles SAE 5W-50 is a PAO (Polyalphaolefin) based, fully synthetic engine oil, specially developed for the demanding use in modern 4-stroke snowmobile engines. Suitable for turbo-charged and naturally aspirated engines.

RAVENOL Snowmobiles SAE 5W-50 is based on high-quality base oils and an advanced additive package that is tailored to the special thermal and mechanical loads in winter operation.

RAVENOL Snowmobiles SAE 5W-50 guarantees maximum lubrication performance, even at lowest temperatures and high engine loads. The oil helps to protect the environment by significantly saving fuel and reducing emissions.

Due to the USVO® technology we achieve an extremely high viscosity stability. We avoid the disadvantages of polymeric viscosity improvers while taking advantage of them. This improves engine protection, performance, engine cleanliness and oil drain intervals. The USVO® technology makes it possible that the product has no shear losses during the entire change interval and is extremely stable to oxidation. This unique technology helps oil lubricate faster, thereby minimizing friction while keeping the engine clean and efficient.

Application Note

RAVENOL Snowmobiles SAE 5W-50 is used in 4-stroke snowmobile engines from leading manufacturers. It can also be used in vehicles with wet clutches and catalytic converters.

RAVENOL Snowmobiles SAE 5W-50 can be used in the following snowmobiles:

Polaris: all models using 4-stroke engines

Alpina: Sherpa 1.4L, Sherpa 1.6L, Superclass 1.2L (all 4-stroke engines)

Also suitable for many other snowmobiles with similar engine systems.

Only use in accordance with the vehicle manufacturer's operating instructions!
