Warmest congratulations to the KYB Team JC

Mattias Ekström

Acting for the KYB Team JC, the two Swedish Audi drivers Mattias Ekström (42) and Robin Larsson (28) celebrate overall victory in the team standings of the FIA WRX. After the cancellation of the last round of the World Rallycross Championship at the Nürburgring, this year's world champions were decided ahead of time. Good placements of the Audi drivers in the driver standings, P2 and P6, led the team, which is technically supported by RAVENOL (cars: Audi S1 EKS RX quattro), to the top of the team standings. At the same time, the Volkswagen driver Johan Kristoffersson, who comes also from Sweden, won now overall third WRX World Championship (after 2017 and 2018).

AUDI S1
This rally-cross version of the Audi S1 has a two-litre turbo engine with an impressive 560 bhp. This lightweight car with the four rings only takes just over two seconds to get from 0 to 100 km/h. RAVENOL RRS 5W-50, a fully synthetic low viscosity multigrade engine oil with special USVO® technology is the oil selected for use. This oil is a special oil for motor racing and delivers even in difficult conditions such as in the World Rallycross Championship. The special composition of this multi-viscosity oil based on a basis of esters and poly-alpha-olefines makes for an outstanding viscosity behaviour, accompanied by very good dispersing characteristics. Furthermore, the all-wheel-drive Audi that fits into the supercar category uses the RAVENOL Racing Gearoil in its sequential six-speed gearbox. In the case of ongoing engine stresses as usually are witnessed in motor racing, the coolant RAVENOL LGC-Protect C13 Concentrate reliably protects engine and radiator against overheating while providing maintenance free corrosion and anti-freeze protection in cooling circuits at the same time.
