The 2014 season in the FIA Formula 3 Championship starts to heat up as the pressure mounts to pick up important points for the title. Last weekend, three races within the most important junior series in the program took place at Nuremburg Ring. In addition to the series partnership, RAVENOL works directly with the Dutch team Van Amersfoort Racing. The driver Max Verstappen, now RED BULL Junior, demonstrated his driving abilities once again and took the first race on Saturday. His performance in the second race on Sunday morning was also very promising, but he dropped out of the lead shortly before the finish with a technical problem. The Italian Antonio Giovinazzi was the winner ahead of Tom Blomqvist and the current table leader Esteban Ocon. The third race on Sunday afternoon was won by Lucas Auer ahead of Tom Blomqvist. Max Verstappen was able to work his way up in this race from the fifth starting position to secure a place on the podium in third.
The penultimate event of the season will be held between October 10 - 12 in Imola, Italy.
