At his tender age of 16, Max Verstappen was the bookmakers’ huge favorite in the run up to the Zandvoort race in the Netherlands. With his six victories so far in the season, the son of the former Formula 1 pilot Jos Verstappen is one of the contenders for the FIA Formula 3 European Championship title. Though beaten by Jules Szymkowiak in the qualifying on this dune circuit, he reasserted his position once again in the 2nd qualifying and during the race.
Next weekend, Verstappen will be seating on the driver’s seat again in the FIA Formula 3 European Championship to add one more to his streak of success in the Moscow Raceway.
