After an eventful year marked by numerous product innovations as well as further investments at our Werther and Lubmin sites, RAVENOL would like to pause briefly ahead of Christmas and the upcoming turn of the year and place a stronger focus on its commitment to social responsibility. Together with our long-standing partner Motoren Zimmer, we are supporting the non-profit organization Glücksmomente e.V. this year, which is dedicated to helping children and young people facing particularly challenging life situations.
Glücksmomente e.V. provides holistic and individual support to children and adolescents who are confronted with serious personal challenges such as grief, traumatic experiences, mental health conditions, developmental delays, or severe illnesses. At the heart of the organization’s work is the project “Glücksmomente schenken” (Creating Moments of Happiness), which is based on the positive effects of equine-assisted therapy and education. Mindful interaction with the animals promotes trust, self-awareness, and emotional stability. Within a protected environment, children learn to communicate non-verbally, take responsibility, and develop new confidence. Supported by specially trained professionals and the sensitive interaction with the horses, this approach creates a sustainable and empathetic connection with the young people.

Shared commitment
RAVENOL and Motoren Zimmer have been connected by a close and trusting partnership for many years, during which numerous joint projects have been successfully implemented. Motoren Zimmer is regarded as a recognized engine specialist and has built a high level of credibility within the industry through technical expertise, hands-on content, and a transparent approach. Through its YouTube channel, Motoren Zimmer reaches a large community of Mercedes-AMG enthusiasts, mechanics, and workshops, who value the channel as a competent source of information.
“As a non-profit organization, we are funded 100% by donations and receive no government support whatsoever. This makes us all the more grateful to companies that get involved and are aware of their social responsibility,” says Andrea Meyer, Chair of Glücksmomente e.V.
“My wife and I are very happy to be implementing this commitment together. We are also privately very involved in working with horses, which provides an important balance to everyday workshop life. All the more, we are pleased to support a project that gives children new strength and confidence through their interaction with horses,” says Jean-Pierre Zimmer, founder of Motoren Zimmer.
