The prestigious Macau Formula 3 Grand Prix took place last weekend. For Max Verstappen (van Amersfoort Racing) it was the last Formula 3 event before his switch to Formula 1 next year.
The 17-year-old Dutchman had failed to grab a good starting position in qualification on Saturday due to a crash, but his personal skill carried him through on the Sunday on the narrow urban track known as the "Monaco of the East“. Over 15 laps he managed to move up from 24th place to 7th.
The Swede Felix Rosenqvist won both the qualification and main races.
Gustavo Menezes, also racing for Van Amersfoort Racing, partners of RAVENOL, came in in 10th place in front of Markus Pommer from the Motopark Academy team. The team from Oschersleben is also a RAVENOL formula-racing sport partner.
